We have many chinchillas available! Please read over all the Bios and see if one or two of the chins will fit into your life. When you have decided on a chin, please fill out the Adoption Application.
Chinchillas are fostered in private homes. Each bio will have where the chinchilla is fostered. Because they are in private homes we need to arrange a visit based on when the foster is available.
ADOPTION FEES ARE: $75 for single chinchillas and $110 for a pair

We do our best to keep this updated but sometimes we don't get to it. if you are looking for a chin and don't see one here that will work with your family, please email us and we may be able to match you up.

Dexter is a male standard chinchilla who is over 5 years of age. He is kinda of a grumpy boy and prefers he set the rules for any relationship. He should never be paired with another chinchilla, ever. Fostered in North York
Would suit an owner with moderate chin experience.

Sadie was surrendered to the Brampton Animal Shelter. They contacted us to take her in and she is settling in very well. A very nice chin. She doesn't like her cage to be bothered with and will spray sometimes. She loves to run on her wheel and enjoys getting a twig. Sadie is a messy girl in her cage and likes to push all her shavings out of the way. She does have some cage aggression but with the right home should settle in.

Elsa is a very nice chinchilla who fur chews. She stops for long periods of time and then starts up again. She loves to run on her wheel and also loves getting twigs. Elsa is a great hay eater and is a very nice chin. Don`t let her idea of bad hair cut scare you away. She prefers not to be handled and will give a warning nip if you continue to try to hold her.

Furiosa was sent to us from the Lincoln County Humane Society. We don't have much info on her past or how old she is. She loves to run on her wheel but she is an extreme fur chewer. A very nice chin who just needs a forever home! She is an excellent hay eater and also has issues destroying her fleece tube!

Roo is a shy girl who prefers to watch you and then will come down to have some pellets or hay. She loves to run on her wheel and will destroy hammocks in no time!
A very nice girl who is cautious about people and prefers you not handle her.

Eros is a very nice boy who loves to run on his saucer. He loves when you come over to say hello. He was adopted out previously but was returned due to life changes.

These two were also part of the Kingston group of chinchillas. One is a fur chewer and the other is not very social. They need an experienced home. After almost 2 years at the rescue these boys are a bit more social and are very curious. They are fur chewers and love to run on their wheel.

Cliffy came in as a pair but his cage mate turned on him one night so they were split to prevent any injuries. Cliffy is very sweet and loves to run on his wheel. He may be an older chin but he has lots of energy!

Chin is a big boy. He loves to sleep in his hammock and is very curious. He has some cage aggression and doesn't like anyone to bother him while he is in his cage. He loves to run on his chin spin and likes to watch the other chins.

Abby is a really nice girl who was adopted and then returned to the rescue. She is super curious about everything and loves to come up the cage when you are around.

Chilli came into the rescue as a tail chewer. She was self mutilating and had 2 surgeries resulting in her tail being amputated. She is still recovering and isn't up for adoption just yet. She is a very nice girl but doesn't like to be handled as she has had a lot of handling over the past almost year. She loves to get new hay and enjoys watching you. Fostered in Mississauga.

Charlie is a male mosaic who has had a couple quirks. He exhibited star gazing behaviour but that seems to Have stopped. He is also a fur chewer. Fostered in North York.
